The dazzling world of Bollywood

Pallavi Singh Jain will talk about the colourful and dazzling world of Bollywood. The lecture takes the audience behind the scenes of India’s largest cultural export, exploring Bollywood’s history, economics, stories, themes and influence both in India and around the world.

The talk will also delve into Bollywood’s characteristic exuberant romance and how Indian film culture has found its way across the globe.

Adapted to the rather “reserved” tastes of the Baltic region, the lecture will not include any singing or dancing – especially not to the tune of “Jimmy Jimmy”.

The event will be held in English, with Estonian interpretation.
