DESCRIPTION:For many Nigerians living in Estonia, traditional clothing is much more than just fabric.\nIt tells stories of family, community, celebrations, cultural heritage and home.\nThe exhibition explores how Nigerian clothing culture is preserved, adapted and reinterpreted in Estonia.\nThe exhibition is curated by Uwanma Odefa, a member of the Nigerian community living in Tallinn, who has brought together garments and accessories from several different ethnic groups for the exhibition.\nThe exhibition will remain open at the Tallinn People’s Museum, located at Pikk 29a, until 24 January 2027. \n
